The Cow Barn Café @ Tyntesfield National Trust

The Cow Barn café at Tyntesfield has been lovingly restored by The National Trust, making for a quirky refreshment stop where you can dine within the original cast-iron cattle stalls. They serve seasonal food with much of the fruit and veg coming from the estate's own Victorian kitchen garden. There is a second Café in the Pavilion and visitors are also welcome to picnic around the grounds. With several play areas there is plenty to discover at Tyntesfield. Look out for the enchanted tree house in the woods, play hide and seek, swing on the ropes and hunt out the giant guano bird; or even go on your own personal geocaching quest to discover the eight sites around the estate.
